● Centre for the Study of Developing Societies, New Delhi, India
Institute: It is a premier institute of India in the social sciences and humanities. CSDS is largely funded by the Indian Council of Social Science Research Institute (ICSSR).
Description: Worked as a software intern for Sarai Media Labs an initiative under CSDS and worked upon development of web based projects, including work with PHP, Flex, Content Management Systems and other technologies.

Company: A business project incubator firm, understanding hi tech markets and emerging technologies and incubates business plans projects.
Description: Worked as a marketing research executive for a biometric startup project and was involved in the recruitment process for the same, which involved finding right people for the opportunities made available by project 1003 at Nirma Labs. Various online mediums were used for the same

PROJECTS UNDERTAKEN
● TYPOS: Typos in Writing on the Wall.
This was the degree project carried out during the internship at CSDS, Sarai Media Labs. This was a platform for experimenting and free styling with media forms. This involved generation of a web portal for the related content management and a couple of web applications a web based Slideshow Creator and a web based graffiti wall. This involved work in Adobe Flex, PHP, Apache, MySQL and Drupal CMS.
● EMS: Enterprise Management System
This project aims at making generic online software for the management of a company and its affairs. The software can be used by any company or organization to manage its employees, coordinate the work distribution and monitor progress. Projects can be added, updated, work allocated and progress can be reported at various levels. There will be logins for each employee through which he/she can send/receive messages, create/manage projects, and manage people working at a level below him/her as per permissions given by the administrator.
This software is a web application which is designed to run on Apache Tomcat Server 5.5, MySQL 5.0 at the backend and is designed to be compiled with java compiler version 1.5 using JSP and Servlets.
● Chunav: A online voting system
This project has been designed in order to provide an online portal for elections to be held in the University. The online portal is developed in PHP and MySQL, and Code Ignitor PHP library. Further improvements are still being carried out to facilitate voting through SMS by using Java.
● Online Community for Students Club
Developed a website for students’ activities club for Rotatract Club of Nirma Institutes This was done using PHP and MySQL and the functionality of Drupal CMS.
● Balloon Man-Hit Game
This was a simple game designed using C++ Graphics library and integrating mouse clicks in it. All simple C++ graphics functions were used to give a good look and feel.
● Disco Light Display Using 8085 Microprocessor and 8254
A disco light display using Intel 8085 Microprocessor and 8254 programmable Interval Timer was designed. The standard instructions set of 8085 was used programming in assembly language, and using MTK-85 development Kit.
● College Master
A record keeping systems for all the staff and students of Nirma institute of Technology was developed. It included password protection and each and every minute details of a student about what courses she/he is pursuing till date and which faculty is involved in which course. It also included assignment submission facilities and many other features .The programming team included about 5 students.
